The ESV Study Bible...What Are You Waiting For??

Well, The ESV Study Bible has arrived and I love it!

The overall size of the Bible itself is pretty large, much larger than any other study Bible that I have seen. The study notes are very impressive and very in depth, unlike many study Bibles that give just a generalized blurb about the text, the ESV Study Bible breaks things down quite nicely. The introductions to books are lengthy and very meaty, breaking down the title, themes, authorship, occasion and dates. The introductions also give great insight with key themes of each book, explanations and examples and a very cool feature, the structure of the book. Another nice feature is the full color maps throughout the entire study Bible, they're not distracting but very helpful in picturing where things took place in the text.
There's also a nice timeline feature, the one for 1 Peter goes from Peter becoming a disciple all the way through to his martyrdom in Rome. The articles and resource section in the back is a great feature with articles on everything from God's plan of salvation to The Bible and World religions to various articles on reading the Bible. For the money you really can't go wrong here, it would defintely be a good investment for your spiritual growth.

I really can't say enough about this wonderful resource, if you are looking for a new study Bible or if you have been looking for some great reference material to aid you in your Bible study, the ESV study Bible is what you've been waiting for.

You can pick one up at a very affordable price at the Westminster Bookstore, click the link below to take a look, I know you're going to love it!
